The locomotive files listed have been engineered by the Model RR Craftsman from available sound files recommend for the locomotive shown, unwanted features have been deleted from the standard ESU decoder and replaced with more usable files which were then aligned as practical with other sound decoders in the market. I would like to acknowledge the work of Josh Beveridge’s  in selection the most suitable files to use.

What have we done, generally a more aggressive notching scheme and the allocation of the sounds slots listed below. Pressure  relief, snifter valve, cooling and dynamic fans and compressors have been added to the idle and running sound slots for added realism as well as more random start up cycles.

All sound files are supplied by ESU or the MRRC [noted in bold text].

CD manuals are provided, however if you need to adjust the volume there are 4 volume controls, CV63 Master Volume, CV121 Horn, Bell CV122, Auxiliary CV123 valid settings 0 - 64 for all.
