Common
features of NCE Decoders.
- Torque compensation for ultra smooth low speed
performance.
- Short address for compatibility with
the Basic systems Atlas. Roco & MRC
- Long address for being able to
address any loco number through 9,999.
- Silent Running High Frequency motor
drive to eliminate motor hum or buzz
- Unloadable speed
tables interpolated to 128 speed steps
- Programmable, Start, Mid and
Maximum speed
works for all speed modes
- Additional functions, all with 14 different
lighting effects [Mars, Strobe etc]
- Function mapping for increased
comp ability with other decoders and flexibility in lighting assignment
- Supports advance consisting.
- Ability to reprogram the following
configuration settings while the loco is in operation on the main track as well as on the
Programming Track.
- Ability to reprogram Acceleration &
Deceleration.
- Ability to reprogram Starting voltage.
- Speed step mode (28, 128).
- Use of standard or alternate speed table.
- Change between the short and long address at
will.
- Ability to change the individual speed steps
of a decoder to truly have all loco's operate the same at any speed step.
- All of our decoders will operate on DC
(switchable on/off).
- Brake on DC to assist automatic train control
- Momentum, which can be set as long as 3.8
minutes or zero to full speed. The train made up of two loco's and 125 cars will respond
like it should, eventually.
- DC operation - Note that NCE
Decoders require a PURE DC Analogue throttle to operate correctly.
A throttle produces any form of pulse and
modulation the decoders may not operate reliability. Please check with the throttle
manufacturer before using with the NCE decoder under DC.
